Welcome to URPRO

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan is putting Uncharted and Uncharted 2 back on the market in a gold slipcase. The classy looking Uncharted 2 Twin Pack will retail for 7,980 yen ($88, £54, 62€) when it arrives in Japan on February 18.

The announcement came with more Uncharted 2 news, a new schedule of DLC. Here's what Uncharted 2 fans can look forward to.

Hey everyone!

As you may have noticed, URPRO is a bit...out of activity, that is why I decided to ask the fans to join us to help make URPRO very much alive.
What we are looking for are people who are willing, and motivated, to write articles and news posts about the Uncharted and Resistance sagas. This "job" isn't payed, sadly, but I can barely keep this website up online, so I had to pay the Staff...the website would go down in no time.

Each role requires different qualifications, which are the following:
- An article-writer should have great knowledge about the Uncharted and / or Resistance sagas, and be well organized in the way he writes his articles.
- A news-writer should be good at finding interesting information about the Uncharted and / or Resistance sagas as well as knowing how to sort information. (copy-pasting from websites won't be allowed except if the info is totally official, in which case, the source must be mentioned)

And of course, both require a flawless spelling, so that everyone can understand. Also, knowing how to use basic BBCode is valued.

If you wish to join the Staff, send me (JaKhris) a PM (entitled "[Recruiting] Article/News Writer") with a test article or news, to show me what you're capable of. Nothing fancy, let's say about 100 words, but if you feel you need to do more, please do so.

Well that's it. I don't know how many will react to this, but I hope I'll find some motivated fans out there. As soon as I have enough candidates, I'll choose the best ones.

The holidays are all about the giving spirit and we're in a giving mood!

We're holding another Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Double Cash weekend from Thursday, December 24, 2009, at 6:00 PM GMT (what time is it in my city) through Sunday, December 27, 2009, at 7:00 PM GMT (what time is it in my city?) you would earn double for all kills and medals. Yes, you read that right, you'll be getting Double Cash for medals as well!

Oh, and our characters have gotten into the spirit of the season to celebrate the occasion!

Uncharted 2 has received its first patch (1.01) fixing a few issues, available right now (next week for Japan and Asia regions). Here's the list of (most of) the changes we made. Some changes have been withheld to protect the innocent:

• Addressed respawn points when the artifact goes out of bounds in the Plunder gametype
  
• Dynamically adjust the win condition for fewer players during the course of a match
  
• Added features to deter players from voluntarily leaving during a match
  
• Added rate limit to "When a Chapter is Completed" Twitter event
  
• Fixed a display issue during letterboxing
  
• Fixed Danish Trophy description
  
• Fixed screenshot utility in standard definition resolutions
  
• Fixed the "Players Met" list not displaying recent players
  
• Addressed a variety of Multiplayer connectivity issues

As said before, there's some more changes that were made that we didn't list out, all in the name of improving the UNCHARTED 2 experience offline and online.

Naughty Dog put up another post on their blog, announcing a Double Cash Weekend for Halloween, and some spookiness...

Halloween is only one day away and we decided we wanted to do something special for our fans over the weekend. We're happy to say that this weekend is also our first ever Double Cash weekend in UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves. The Double Cash weekend starts now (Friday, October 30, 2009) and continues until Monday, November 2, 2009, at 11:00 AM PST.

In every match during Double Cash Weekend, you'll be getting twice the Cash award you normally would for completing typical game actions - not medal-related currency awards - giving everyone a leg up in increasing their Rank for a limited time. That means this weekend is the perfect time to hop on to our Competitive and Co-op Multiplayer modes - whether you're just a few levels away from the vaunted 'X' or this is just your first time online.

A bunch of Naughty Dogs will also be playing this weekend, so be on the lookout for the red Naughty Dog paw next to our PSN ID in the game and feel free to say hi, ask any questions or shoot at our characters.

Stay sharp! There might be something spooky around the next corner...
